We offer a range of services to private individuals and to corporate clients.

1.  READINGS:

You can be assured of a professional and empowering reading from Tarot Academy.  You may have already confirmed this by reading some of our TESTIMONIALS.  Mary is our main reader and your reading can be enjoyed in a number of ways - see the DIARY page for specifics.

Choose which type and duration suits you best and book via the CONTACT FORM page, and we will be delighted to arrange your reading, organise payment and consult the cards for you. 

GENERAL INFORMATION ON READINGS:

The Tarot is a wonderful tool for clarifying what is going on in your life.  You can look at anything from a one card "what would be useful for me to be aware of today?", through 3-card readings "what are the past, present and future influences around this situation?"  There are also much more detailed spreads available for longer readings and more specific questions.

It can be as simple or as detailed as you like.

2.  MARY'S MONTHLY MIDLANDS TAROT DROP IN:

We host a Tarot evening on the 3rd Thursday of each month throughout 2008.  Lots more info available on our Blog.  Come along for the whole evening 7.30-10pm or just drop in and out when it suits you.  Up to 150 minutes for less than the price of a 20 minute reading.

Talk Tarot, play the Tarot.Tarot game (remember you will need to book your place as it's really popular!).  Browse different decks and books, meet others with an interest in Tarot.  All levels welcome - from curious through beginner, to experienced, advanced, professional and teacher.  There's something for you here.

3.  TRAINING COURSES:

You are certain of top quality training as we have several decades of experience in training throughout the UK and worldwide.  We are focussed on improving the quality of delivery and understanding of Tarot.

4.  TAROT TALKS:

Mary has great speaking credentials.  She is the Founder President of the Professional Speakers Association (PSA) in the Midlands and has worked as an adviser to their European Board as well as being past Chair of their European Conference attended by delegates from 9 countries.

She is also a member of the International Federation of Professional Speakers (IFPS) and has travelled the world to deliver her talks, training and consultancy to a wide audience.

This means that you can be sure of someone who will share her passion and enthusiasm, skills and knowledge of Tarot with her audiences worldwide.  She sits comfortably between the corporate business world and the esoteric and spiritual world, believing that there is a balance achieved by integrating both sides.

Mary is a life member of the Institute of Directors in the UK where she has a reputation as a sensible, down to earth, practical person who has a strong corporate background and is able to easily link the practical corporate world with the practicalities of the more esoteric and spiritual side - a remarkable balance.  Whilst she was initially wary of letting her corporate audience know of her love of Tarot her fears ("will they think I've lost the plot?") proved unfounded with many a hardened, practical director saying "well if you are into it there must be something in it!" and "I don't believe in it but come on in and do a session for the team".  The results have been amazing.

5.  COACHING:

Mary successfully links her Business Training and Coaching background with behavioural profiling and is an accredited Constraints Coach through the American-based Flippen Group.  

She coaches through the Tarot as a basic and easily accessible tool.  For those who are ready for a more in depth  journey and personal analysis of strengths they can build on (and we often have many we haven't fully recognised!) and the few constraints that hold us back from achieving even greater results, then Constraints Coaching may be for you.

This is a system that is simple yet tremendously powerful. 

It is descriptive and will identify how you score on 31 different scales which are grouped in to 7 key areas (including sections on Self Concept, Relationships, Work, Control and Decision-Making).

It is predictive as it indicates how we will react or respond given certain situations and criteria, helping us to understand better how we work and relate in the world.

It is prescriptive in that it can help us to create an action plan to first be aware of our patterns, how they play out in life both personally and professionally, and how we can choose to use our strengths to overcome constraints and achieve results we have previously only dreamed of.

Constraints Coaching consists of completing an initial questionnaire, then working with Mary on a number of Coaching Sessions (minimum of 4 to work on initial key constraints) and creating your Action Plan.  Some choose to continue with their coaching sessions over a longer period to review progress, remove additional, more minor constraints - think of it as unpicking the locks to the chains that have been holding us back.
